Agrimola produces deep frozen pulp and puree in blocks,
and frozen fruit with I.Q.F. process.
.
I.Q.F.
The
I.Q.F. process ( Individual Quick frozen ) is a
deep-freezing, cryogenic treatment to wich our products
are subjected in order to achieve a final product that
maintain at least 95% of the physical and nutritional
features of the fresh product.
As soon as a food is frozen by the I.Q.F. process, all its
internal liquids transforms very quickly in small icy
crystals. But, compared to the treatments used in the past,
the resulting conformation does not damage the product's
cellular membranes.
Further more, the I.Q.F. process applied by our company on
its own production line is a accompanied by a 100% natural
processes that guarantees the preservation of the colour,
consistence and taste of all our products. This is why we
are able to offer a unique quality to the different
markets. The products are pre-selected during the
picking-up and then selected again before starting the
transformation process. Afterwards the products, depending
on the demand, are washed, peeled and cutted. Then they
are ready to be frozen by the means of I.Q.F. and dosed
and packed according to customer requirements.
It
is furthermore possible the production of puree from
apricots, peaches and pears both in tanks (aseptic puree)
than in bags (deep frozen puree), also in 1 and 2 Kg bags.
In order
to obtain aseptic puree, fresh fruits, after been
transformed in puree is subject to processes of
concentration and pasteurization at temperature over 100°
C, for about 15 minutes using steam. Then
the product is
cooled and
packed in 200
kg drums,
tanks
or in
special
pre-sterilized.
Agrimola
is also specialised in the production of deep frozen
peeled chestnuts and marrons
