AGRIMOLA S.P.A. is equipped with IQF “flow freeze” technology which is especially used to better preserve the quality of fresh fruit.
Fruit pulps are frozen in a static refrigerator that can reach -35 °C very quickly.
Purees can be frozen with the a.m. equipment, or aseptic packed in bags inside external new iron drums with plastic covers, protected again with plastic liner, or it can be stored in aseptic fixed tankers of 25 tons of capacity.
The equipment is completed with production lines to clean, sort and prepare, specific for every single fruit/variety and packing lines before and after the freezing process.
A new optical sorter has been installed to sort out unsuitable fruit and foreign materials.
The facility is equipped with cold rooms for storage at 0°C and -18°C, a new building is foreseen for automatic storage at -25°C.
Agrimola is always active in research to develop and optimize its productions.
The latest addition to our equipment is an optical sorting machine, capable of sorting unsuitable fruit, foreign endogenous/exogenous material out of the finished product by using an array of 4 high-tech polar and infrared cameras. This way we can maximize the end quality without wasting any good product.
